Studies have shown that education in the arts provides students with many academic and non-academic benefits. It connects students with one another, teaches students to be self-directed learners, promotes cognitive development, and creates an environment of discovery. In George’s Fisher’s art class, students have been working on 3D masks to strengthen their skills in the use of art elements and design principals.
Students also have the option to explore all kinds of art mediums after-school through our new club offerings, including film, photography, and music. Learn more about our school’s student-driven clubs and activities here.
