We said rain or shine, and we did it! Here are some pictures from the Yorktown field trip.
2/11: Black History Museum field trip. This is a school-wide trip. All students are expected to attend. We will leave at 11:30 and return by 2:45. Lunch will be at 11:00. Brook Road Academy will cover admission for students. https://www.blackhistorymuseum.org/
2/12 & 2/13: NWEA MAPS TESTING (Reading & Math) (Date change)
2/14: Community meeting
2/18: Virginia State University visit for juniors and seniors.
2/21: Manorhouse Community Service for Group A.
2/27: University of Richmond-Modlin Center: University Dancers field trip. We are fortunate to be provided tickets for this sold out show. This trip is free of charge to our students. https://tickets.modlin.richmond.edu/2880/2882
2/28: Clubs between 1-3pm. Students will have a chance to choose a different club.
Parent Teacher Conference Day
Mark your calendars… Wednesday, March 4th, 12-3:30 pm. A link will be shared to sign up for teachers.
Students need to turn in their missing assignments and late work by the end of the week. Teachers are not required to accept late work for students that are in attendance.
Cell phones need to be off and away. We are not in the habit of requiring cell phones to be turned in; however, we have been addressing students increasingly regarding their cell phones and electronics.
As always, thank you for your support of our school community.
